Versace Spring, Summer 2018 Collection was definitely event to remember. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Gianni Versace death, and therefor all of the collection was dedicated to his epic work. Donatella Versace honored her late brother, Gianni with a Spring 2018 collection inspired by his most iconic looks. In recognizing that it wasn’t just about the collections, and their spectacular animal prints, square-shouldered jackets or quirky accessories, but also the supermodel careers his designs helped catapult, she recruited some old friends from the ‘90s. And bang they did. Decked out in gold lamé, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni, and Helena Christensen stepped out on the catwalk. With their great physiques, elongated and elegant steps and unwavering confidence, these icons prove that 40s-plus beauty still rules.
- “We pay homage to not only his artistic genius but to who he was as a man, and above all, as my brother. ” Donatella Versace
